Alyestal is a speaker, writer, and storyteller who brings a unique and emotional element when she speaks to her audience on themes of identity and empowerment.

Alyestal has spoken for the Peel District School Board, City of Brampton, Ryerson University, Sheridan College and with other institutions and events across North America and beyond.

With the creation of the digital series Momo’s Mama Monday, Alyestal has garnered an engaged community of millennial mamas who regularly engage in honest conversations in motherhood. She is expanding her storytelling capacity as a journalist and producing stories like Tell ‘Em, showcasing Canadians not traditionally seen in media.

Alyestal is one of the top 100 Women to Watch in Canada, been seen on 21Ninety, and opened the stage for the likes of award-winning author Lawrence Hill.
