Alyestal is a mama, speaker, and spoken word poetess. As a storyteller, Alyestal uses spoken word poetry, workshops, and digital content creation to serve as a guide for her audience to feel empowered by their own story. 

As a speaker, facilitator, and poetess, Alyestal brings a unique and emotional element when she speaks to her audience on themes of identity empowerment, and self-love. She is one of the top 100 Women to Watch in Canada, been seen on 21Ninety, and opened the stage for the linked of award-winning author Lawrence Hill.

Alyestal helps women along their motherhood journey as they reconcile their identity between being a mama and an individual. She shares her story through digital series Momo’s Mama Monday on how she navigates the battles between wanting to be a better mama, while simultaneously pursuing and fulfilling her big dreams.
